Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you. (Psalm 51:10-13 ESV)
So Tracy was gone and this morning I was listening to this Psalm from the Daily Audio Bible. Tracy and I have been facing some challenges recently...the details aren't appropriate for this blog; however, the phrase, "restore to me the joy of your salvation" has stuck out. At this point in time I, Cecil, truly desire for The Lord to pour and restore His salvation. Every passing day I realize how desperately I need The Lord.
