Magic shoe laces

So here's the deal, Solas and Judah have just started school.  They are literally the only foreigners in the ENTIRE school. All the students speak Thai, and some teachers speak English.  This has been such a great experience for the boys to experience Thai culture and be richly exposed to Thai language.  I, Cecil, have been so proud of their courage to venture to a new school and dive into the culture and language.
The thing is, Solas has shoes with laces and he puts them on and takes them off about 5-6 times per day on average.  So Tracy purchased these elastic bands and made them his laces.  So he literally can just slide his shoes on and off at school.  One less thing he has to worry about abd now he has more time for class and connecting with his friends.  Please continue to pray for our boys.

The Move

So we made the big move!!! From Northern Thailand, to Central Thailand.  We are so thankful for our team and friends in Chiang Mai for helping and for the amazing Chacheonsao team for helping us out when we first touched down.  So the boys just started school at a Catholic School with all Thai students, and everyone speaks Thai.  I pray that this would be an amazing time of growth in language and culture for our boys.  Please continue to pray as the family adjusts to this new "normal" and rhythm of life.

Cinco De Mayo Baby

Yes, yes I am in fact a Cinco De Mayo baby!!!  And of proud it!  Our family has, in the past few years, taken opportunities of parties/celebration to invite others into our lives and of the celebration of the kingdom of God breaking into our lives and hearts!!!
This was a birthday/going party and we had a full house and many Thai friends that we met came over for the first time.  We ordered 17 large pizzas!  One of the most special part was when Andy invited the group to encourage me, then they prayed me!  Loved it.
