Barber shop

So our family has been her for 15, almost 16 months, and I had been going to the same barber this whole time.  The difficult thing has been that the barber hasn't really that friendly...well, to be honest he hasn't been friendly at all.  After studying language for about 10 months did he feel comfortable having a conversation with me. Since then he certainly has warmed up to me and my family.  I have taken the boys to get a haircut from his wife, who works in the shop as well.  This past week that I was in their I actually had the longest conversation yet.  I found out so much about his life as well as the culture of Thai people.  So I discovered that he works everyday from 7:00 a.m-11:00 p.m. Without a single day off. In fact, the only time he takes off is during their two major holidays in the year.  Shortly after he mentioned this to me I told him that my family and I were leaving in the next few months.  He actually seemed like he was going to miss us.  I look forward to getting his contact information and following up on our friendship.  Pray that the LORD opens his eyes to the truth of Jesus.

One of the last Sunday's at Grace

So Tracy and I have been helping out at Sunday school with these little cutie pies.  Tracy would do the craft and teach the lesson, and I would occasionally do some games with the kids...mostly to have them get some energy out.  We honestly don't have many more Sunday's to teach before we move.  Lord knows we are going to miss the fellowship and these kids.

Crossroads

So the family and I are coming up to some serious crossroads, or better said we feel like the LORD has just thrown us a "curve ball" at us.  We thought we were heading to Rayong with the Esau's but that's not what's going to happen now.  The LORD is guiding us to a new area with a new team.  On one sense we are very excited, on the other, we are grieving the death of dream of being with the Esau's.  Details will certainly come...but we would love your prayers.

Full Sail

So my amazing wife was able to go to a conference and help out the "Full Sail" team from California.  The first two nights of this week were particularly for Thai  women, and Tracy was asked to be a missionary who would interpret.  She can't home the next two nights with amazing story of how the LORD moved in that worship and during the prayer time.  Thankful to the LORD for the opportunity for the Full Sail team and for local missionary women to minister to the 92 Thai women.  Such a gift!  So proud of my wife.

Culloden Team

So the Culloden Team from Vancouver helped me out at the government school last week and we had such a blast.  I was so proud of the way the team stepped up to the plate!  I had never soon my students have such a blast!
