Mr. Josh Armstrong

So it was at Bakersfield College in 2002 where I met Josh Armstrong.  We began talking and I invited him to a Bible Study I was co-leading with Jimmy Brandon. Truth is at the time I didn't know a whole lot of theology, but what I knew was I loved Jesus.  Since that time Josh has turned into one of my closest friend and a man  for whomI have a deep respect and admiration.  We have done so much ministry together it's not even funny.  What I appreciate about our friendship is that we recognize, and are comfortable with the fact that we compliment each other well. What I mean by that we are so different that we have very opposite strengths and weaknesses but we both agree on the main doctrines and practices of Christianity.  I am extremely grateful that Jesus brought Josh into my life.  He has been a huge blessing to me, my family, and many others.  He was the "best man" at my wedding and I was the "best man" at his.
I have heard many preachers and podcasts, and the truth is Josh has Theology that's as solid as the best of them.  He also has an amazing way of explaining and articulating the message of Jesus and how it relates to everyday life.
I can honestly say that I am a better man for knowing him, and he continues to encourage and challenge me to this day. Grateful to Jesus Christ for placing him in my path.

Cecil
