So Andy took our team to the Protestant Cemetery in Bangkok. We had the opportunity to visit this historic place. What a reminder of our mortality. That our lives are but a vapor. Amongst the tombstones was the fist martyr in Thailand. I felt as though I was walking on holy ground of Spiritual Giants. That experience allowed me to focus on the mission Jesus has for my family and me. What about you. What kind of legacy are you leaving?

Ott and Sarah's instalment
It's was great going to TLC for the instalment of Ott and Sarah. During this event I often thought about all the missionaries, the prayers, the tears, the sermons, the dollars, and all the time the past 15 years. I felt honoured to be part of the history MB MISSION. May Jesus continue to move in Thailand.

What Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast
So just read this short book but it was packed with good stuff. The basic message was in the title. That the most successful people are up early, working out, enjoying time at a coffee shop, running another business, having their Bible study. Then they would have time for their family and have a great boost of energy to start the day. It was a great reminder and it has strengthened my resolve to wake up early.
What do you do before breakfast?

Great meeting
So we just had a very amazing team meeting today!!! Had some amazing tacos, thank you Sandy, and an amazing time of storytelling-thanks Louise. We also had a terrific time of worship-thank you Jill, then Louise shared s great word of running the "relay race" with our eyes fixated on Jesus and the mission He has for us...wow!!! That was a great word. What was the "icing on the cake" was Diane Miller's encouragement and heart to keep on pressing forward! What a gift today was!!! Thank you Lord!!! Mom and Sis
What an amazing two weeks!!! My sister and mom came to visit, hang out, and to totally bless us...and they did!! My sister and mom are a huge help around the house, with our boys, and with our ministries. We had some amazing conversations, it's great to be able to go deep with the people you love most. I have so many wonderful memories of my childhood, by and large because of these two ladies...especially my mom. I have a very healthy adulthood by and large because my mom raised us by herself in a home that was warm, inviting, fun, and full of love. The goodbye was very difficult, but I am looking forward to seeing them once again.
Love you my mom and sis.

Car accident, then significant meeting
So it was about 9:15 p.m. And I get a call from a teammate Jill that she hit something and is waiting for the insurance guy. So I showed up and there was a guy across the street, and he was able to help us communicate to the insurance agent where we were and he and his wife ended up inviting us over and they stayed there with us the next 3 hours until the insurance agent came and filled out the report. I believe the LORD had us go through that situation so that we could meet this family. Now we need to follow up...AND they have a noodle stand...guess where I'm going to go to lunch.
